Jen released her first CD, ‘Renew Our Hearts' in 2002 and her music is now used in hundreds of schools and parishes across Australia and overseas. Jen's second CD ‘Christ Our Way and Life' was released in 2003 as a special project for Mary Immaculate Primary School, Eagle Vale. It contains many original Christmas songs by Jen and a couple of traditional ones. Jen's third CD 'At The Well' was released in July 2007. This CD contains an amazing collection of songs for use in liturgy, prayer and personal reflection. In 2009 ‘Crowing in the Mid West’ was recorded in Western Australia as a special project for Good Samaritan Rural Outreach. The formation of a community choir and onsite recording was a means of gathering the various groups in the community with its indigenous members. All profits from this CD go to St. Paul’s House of Welcome in Three Springs WA. In 2010 Jen wrote and recorded ‘In God and For God’ after being inspired by the writings and lived spirituality of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop. The CD contains songs and mantras based on the writings and spirituality of Mary MacKillop. This CD is fully endorsed by the Sisters of St Joseph and has been widely used by facilitators providing retreats and reflection days on Mary MacKillop. Music from this collection was used at the Mary MacKillop Canonisation events held by the Sisters of St Joseph in Rome and Sydney.
A message from Jen... This music is an action for God and it is my hope that all can find spiritual renewal in these songs and a deeper awareness and connection to the God we are in and God within us. The Renewal Productions logo of the deciduos tree is a symbol of our own capacity for spiritual renewal. Each year these trees shed themselves of old growth and spend time in stillness. We too are invited to shed ourselves of all that does not give life and enter into naked stillness and reflective quiet time in order to...
Be transformed by the renewing of your minds,
so that you may discern what is the will of God
what is good and acceptable and perfect.
(Romans 12:2)
Like these trees we wait. And in the grace and wisdom of God we burst forth into new growth and new life. As the winter tree clothes itself anew each Spring, St Paul says, Clothe yourselves in a new self,
which is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of the creator. In that renewal... Christ is all and in all!
(Col 3:10-11)
It is my hope that this gift of music will support individuals, retreat facilitators, schools and parishes in the work of spiritual renewal, in clothing yourselves in Christ and in becoming all that is possible in the image of the creator. In gratitude Jen
